Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026 · Effective immediately

These terms govern your use of the Inventokit website and any services or products we build for you. By using our website or engaging our services, you're agreeing to what's written here. We've written it plainly so there are no surprises — on either side.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you — the person or company using this website or hiring us — and Inventokit, an AI engineering firm based in Karachi, Pakistan. For questions, email hello@inventokit.com.

Using our website

This website is here for you to learn about Inventokit and get in touch. When using it, please: • Use it for legitimate purposes only • Don't attempt to break, hack, scrape, or interfere with it • Don't use it to do anything illegal • Don't copy our content and republish it as your own

Our services

Inventokit builds AI-powered products, automation systems, custom software, and digital solutions. When you hire us, the specific scope — what we build, the timeline, price, and what success looks like — is defined in a separate project agreement or proposal. That document takes precedence over these general terms. What we commit to in every engagement: we work honestly, communicate clearly, and build things that solve real problems. What we ask of you: timely feedback, access to what we need to do the work, and honest communication if something isn't going the way you expected.

Data handling

When you share your business data with us — to build AI models, train systems, or integrate into workflows — here's exactly how we handle it: Your data stays yours: Any data you share with us for a project remains your property. We use it only to do the work you hired us for. Period. We don't share it: We don't share your business data with other clients, third parties, or anyone outside the Inventokit team working on your project. If you want a formal NDA before the project starts, just ask — we'll sign it without hesitation. We don't train our own models on your data: We will never use your proprietary business data to train Inventokit's own internal AI models without your explicit, written permission. If that's ever relevant to a project, we'll discuss it with you openly first. Website visitor data: We collect anonymous analytics data about how people use inventokit.com. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Our website and content: Everything on this website belongs to Inventokit. You're welcome to read it and share it, but please don't copy and republish it as your own. What we build for you: Once a project is complete and fully paid, you own what we built for you — the code, the models, the product. We don't hold your work hostage. Specific IP terms will be spelled out in your project agreement. Our internal tools and frameworks: We may use internal tools, frameworks, or components we've built ourselves when working on your project. These remain ours. What we build specifically for you is yours — our underlying building blocks are not. This is standard practice and will always be clearly defined in your project agreement.

Payments

Payment terms are set per project and clearly stated in your proposal or contract. In general: • We require a deposit before work begins • Invoices are due on the date stated — late payments may pause active work • If you cancel mid-project, you owe us for work completed to that point • If we cancel (rare), we'll refund any amount paid for work not yet delivered

AI disclaimers

Because we build AI systems, a few things are worth being clear about: • AI models can behave unexpectedly — we test rigorously, but no AI system is perfect • We don't guarantee specific performance metrics for AI outputs unless those metrics are explicitly written into your project agreement • Decisions made using AI tools we build for you remain your responsibility — the AI is a tool, not a decision-maker • We will always be transparent with you about the limitations and risks of any AI system we build

Liability

We do our best work every time. But we can't be held responsible for: • Indirect losses like missed revenue or business opportunities not directly caused by our error • Problems caused by third-party platforms, APIs, or services we integrate but don't control • Decisions you make based on AI outputs from systems we built • Website downtime from hosting, infrastructure, or cyberattacks outside our control If we genuinely make a mistake that costs you, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us for that specific piece of work. If something is clearly our fault, we own it and fix it — we won't hide behind this clause.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. For international clients, specific dispute resolution or jurisdiction terms can be included in your project agreement.
